TIPS FOR YOUR VISIT You must pass through courthouse security where you are required to show a photo ID to enter the courthouse. Lawyers, including pro hac vice attorneys, who present photo ID and a current bar registration card from this or any other federal or state court may bring in electronic communication devices (). The public may not bring cell phones, cameras, recording devices, or other electronic devices (such as MP3 players). You will be required to return it to your car.

ENTRANCE The State Avenue entrance on the south side of the courthouse is closed indefinitely due to budget cuts. Please use the secure entrance located on Nebraska Street on the north side of the building.

PARKING Public and juror parking is available in the Metropolitan MultiSpeciality Physicians Group lot located at 1217 5th Street, on the east side of 5th Street, across the street from the First Baptist Church. Do not park in the First Baptist Church lot or in the lot in front of Johnny Cs Restaurant.

CAF?/VENDING The courthouse cafe is located on level M. The cafe is open for breakfast from 7:30am to 9:30pm and for lunch from 11:00am to 1:30pm. A variety of vending machines are also available on level M.

COURTROOM TECHNOLOGY For specific information on technology available in our courtrooms, please contact the courtroom deputy for the presiding judge in your case. We are happy to schedule a time in advance of the hearing to demonstrate the available technology. Wireless access is available in all of our courtrooms:

ATTORNEY WORKROOM Our practicing attorneys are encouraged to utilize the attorney workroom located on the 1st floor next to our Jury Assembly Room (180). The workroom features wireless internet access, desk top computers with CM/ECF access and a printer.
