Attend 2 “Open Houses” in Culturally Diverse Neighborhoods and Prepare Presentations for Prospective Buyers

• Respectively engage with the diverse culture in the neighborhoods in an effort to understand them by attending an open house in two (2) culturally diverse neighborhoods.

• Gather information for showing the properties to prospective buyers and write a presentation that reflects your assessment of the properties and the culturally diverse neighborhoods.

• Research and analyze the neighborhood where the property is located, the property (or site) itself, and the improvements on the property.

• Preview the homes and assess the design, layout and design deficiencies of the structures and landscape.

• Research the neighborhood’s origin and history.

• Research the local streets, nearby freeways, and public transportation information.

• Research the school district boundaries.

• Research the neighborhood shopping and recreational facilities

• Visit business establishments unique to that neighborhood’s culture

Create a one page Real Estate Newsletter for your community.

Interview a real estate professional in your community and write an article for your newsletter. Also include two short articles in your newsletter from the following list:

• Information about recent listings in your community

• Current real estate market trends (national and/or state)

• Staging Tips

• “Green” products for building, cleaning, and landscaping

2. TECHNICAL COMPETENCE

Utilize the appropriate technology effectively for informational, academic, personal, and professional needs.
