My Dream RoomThis unit project is optional! If you are committing to complete this unit project, start by designing your dream room at You do not need to make your own account. My account log in information is…Email: jhottenstein@password: rockyivMaking your room is the fun part. Dream big! After your room is designed, you’ll need to create a table that gives the measurement of each of your walls. We’re not worried about room furnishings. You are encouraged to include room furnishings in your design, but you do not need to calculate the cost of those furnishings. The only thing we are concerned with is paint for the walls & ceiling and flooring. Your table should show the surface area of each wall minus any door or window openings. The table should show how the total square footage for the walls and floor were calculated. Once you have the total square footage, you need to determine how many cans of paint you’ll need as well as how much flooring. Finish things up by calculating how much the paint and flooring will cost. That’s it. Unfortunately, your dream room will have to stay a dream until you can make enough money to build it yourself!Click on the link below to watch Mr. H. walk you through the roomstyler website and how to get started designing your dream room. You can also watch tutorials on the roomstyler website. Email Mr. H. when you’re ready to calculate the cost of paint and flooring. I’ll walk you through how to find the prices and leave the calculating to you!Sample Format:Wall #120 x 10 = 200 sq. ft.Window 13x4= 12 sq. ft.Window 2 (circle)Total Sq. Ft.
