This information is used by the CARs to establish the billing codes in the Letter Estimate.Project Name – The name given to a project as it will show in the Forge.mil environment.Part 2 - RequirementsThe Requirements section is intended to capture information and facts that have a material impact on the system implementation. Forge.mil is a DISA-led activity designed to improve the ability of the DOD to rapidly deliver dependable software, services, and systems in support of net-centric operations and warfare.SoftwareForgeSoftwareForge enables the collaborative development and distribution of open source software and DOD community source software. For open source and community source development projects within the DOD, SoftwareForge provides software development tools such as software version control, bug tracking, requirements management, and release packaging along with collaboration tools such as wikis, discussion forums, and document repositories to enable collaborative development amongst distributed developers. SoftwareForge is currently built on the open source Subversion version control system and CollabNet TeamForge application life cycle management tool.Once this Service Request Form has been completed, please submit the form to Mission Partner Engagement to have a Letter Estimate created for your requested service.**The DoD has established the External Certification Authority (ECA) program to support the issuance of DoD-approved certificates to industry partners and other external entities and organizations. The ECA program is designed to provide the mechanism for these entities to securely communicate with the DoD and authenticate to DoD Information Systems.
