Enrolling in your MyITLab Course Account Lab

Creating your Account:

Each student must have their own student access code in order to generate a user account with the Prentice Hall software MyITLab. This product will be used to take your tests in CIS 150 as well as CIS 250. Some training will also be done using this account. It is very important that you get a student access code and enroll in your course account before the end of the first week of classes. If you purchased a new textbook package from the bookstore, this code is included with the package.

The steps for enrolling are found in the “Getting Started with myitlab” booklet which also came with your textbook.

All labs, assignments, exams, etc that your instructor assigns to your class can be found under the “Course Content” tab (second one at top of screen).

Your First Lab Assignment:

IF you are working on your own PC, the first lab assignment to be completed in MyITLab is “Start Here: Getting Started with myitlab”. These steps load the needed software onto you computer to enable you to use the myitlab training and testing.

IF you will be working in the lab (CSCB 115/130), you DO NOT have to perform these steps. The needed software is already on these machines.

Other assignments and all tests will be given using this account. Be sure to write down your userid and password, so you can gain access in the future if you forget.
