Few resorts can offer so much to every skier and boarder. Beginners have nearly the entire lower, looker’s left-hand side of the mountain. Freestyle skiers and snowboarders have two terrain parks to choose from between Chair 3, or Tenderfoot, and Heaven’s T-Bar. Experts have incredible access as well, via all three zones: Frontside, Northside and Hellroaring Basin. Experts get to experience all of the terrain on the two backside areas, from the sustained glades in Northside’s Window Pane and the steep pitch on Bighorn. Those in search of extreme terrain will be pleased with Hellroaring Basin’s offering, especially Picture Chutes. For those who might want to undertake some other adventures, there is also available: snowshoeing and skinning tracks to the top of the mountain. The Viking Lodge at Whitefish Lake offers classic hotel-style accommodations with fireplace, flat screen TV’s, mini-fridge, microwave and four-piece bathroom. The Viking is located across the street from the Main Lodge and borders the Viking Creek Wetland Preserve. Accessing the Viking Lodge from the Main Lodge is made simple via an enclosed second story sky bridge. The Viking Lodge houses the Viking Falls indoor pool & hot tub, 1,200 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center, lobby lounge with fireplace and flat screen HDTV, outdoor patio with firepit bordering the forested preserve, a business center with computer and printer, and heated group ski storage room.433578088392000 Cross over the sky bridge to the main lodge to enjoy an outdoor hot tub and incredible spa.
