“MOMENTS OF GLORY” HIGHLIGHTS 30 YEARS OF PGA CHAMPIONSHIPS

A countdown of the 18 greatest shots and moments from the last 30 years of PGA Championships is highlighted in THE PGA CHAMPIONSHIP: MOMENTS OF GLORY on Sunday, Aug. 4 (12:00 Noon-1:00 PM ET). Hosted by Turner Sports’ Vince Cellini and CBS Sports/Turner Sports’ Ian Baker-Finch, the hour-long special includes special moments such as Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods finishing their second round from the 2000 PGA Championship, to decisive shots like Shaun Micheel’s shot on 18th hole to win in 2003. Produced in conjunction with Turner Sports, CBS Sports’ Deb Boulac and Turner Sportrs’ Chris Carmody serve as coordinating producers.

CBS SPORTS GOLF TEAM TALKS PGA CHAMPIONSHIP WITH “PRELUDE TO SEASON’S FINAL MAJOR”

CBS Sports’ Bill Macatee hosts PRELUDE TO THE SEASON’S FINAL MAJOR on Sunday, Aug. 4 (1:00-2:00 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. CBS Sports golf team of Jim Nantz, Sir Nick Faldo, Ian Baker-Finch, David Feherty and Gary McCord engage in a round-table discussion about who has the best chance of winning the 95th PGA Championship, the rich history of Oak Hill Country Club, as well as Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. McIlroy also

sits down to talk about defending the PGA Championip as he reflects in his own words on his eight-shot victory a year ago. The one-hour special also looks back 10 years ago to one of the greatest shots in major championship history when Shaun Micheel stuck a seven iron just inches from the cup at the 18th hole and what his life has been like since his win in 2003 at Oak Hill. And, the story of Rochester's flashy debonair native son, Walter Hagen, who won five PGA Championships tying Jack Nicklaus for the most, will be told. CBS Sports’ Sellers Shy serves as coordinating producer.
