Have them describe to you the one thing they dislike most about their body and why? Have them describe to you what they like about themselves and why? Internal Attributes:* Internal attributes such as their goals, hopes, dreams, greatest ambition and faults will help you to create characters that will come across as real to your readers. What is your character’s goal? What are they trying to achieve in your story? What motivates them to keep trying to achieve their goals even when they fail? What is their internal conflict? Brain storm up to three internal conflicts. These can be small conflicts that they will deal with in the story.What is your character’s external conflict? This is the main conflict they will face in the story – what big thing are they facing that will change their life forever?If there is a romance planned, what is your character’s romantic conflict? How do they feel about falling in love? What would stop them from falling in love? Or what would be an obstacle to them falling in love? If you have a love triangle, who are the other two people involved and what does each one want in this romantic conflict? What will stop them from falling in love? What choices and/or obstacles to falling in love will they have to face? What will they do to get what the one they want? Describe your character’s greatest fear? What will they do anything to avoid? Knowing your character’s fears will lead you to put them into situations where they have to face and find courage, thus making them grow and mature.What makes your character likeable to other characters? Who loves them and why? How can you show their caring nature. Write a small scene that shows the protagonist cares. Have your character tell you something important about themselves. This could be their most embarrassing moment and how this affected them. Let them speak through you and tell you what is important to them. ................
