Quia

What can you do to get better grades?

• Take good notes in class, so you have something to study from at home.

• Listen carefully to what I am explaining.

• Ask questions in class about whatever you do not understand. and take notes about everything asked. (vocabulary, verbs and grammar concepts)

• Listen to other students questions and the answers given. Take notes.

• Make sure you know what the homework is before leaving the class.

• Go over the notes before beginning the homework so you will practice actually using the new concepts covered.

• Keep your binder in order and properly label (Grammaire, Vocabulaire, Devoirs et Travaux). It will make it easier to study.

• Bring all your materials to class every day, this includes binder, flash cards, pencil, blue or black pen.

• Remember to do all homework and check your answers the following day on QUIA. (This is probably the most important of all these steps)

• Check your tests and quizzes during your coaching to help you understand better.

• Finally you should study at least 15-20 minutes every day.  A good concentrated 15-20 minutes without any distractions and focusing on meaning.  Even though there is a lot of memorization involved, it has to be focused on understanding.

• If you need extra help come see me or send me an email.

• If you need a lot of extra help and have been following all the above, get a private tutor as soon as possible.
