DO NOT use force when docking or undocking your laptop ...

Please be aware your docking station comes equipped with a locking mechanism that holds the laptop in place when docked. You will not be able to dock or undock a laptop when this switch is in the locked position. Always ensure that this switch is set to the unlocked position when attempting to dock or undock your laptop.

Please DO NOT use force when docking or undocking your laptop. Doing so may cause damage to the laptop or docking station. If the laptop does not easily click into place when docking or if you are not able to easily press the eject button when undocking, check to ensure the docking station is unlocked.

Ensure that the lock/unlock switch is pushed toward the back of the E-Port.

Center the laptop with the E-Port, then push down on the laptop until it clicks into place.

Ensure that the lock/unlock switch is pushed toward the back of the E-Port.

Press the eject button to undock the laptop, and then lift the laptop away from the E-Port.
