You can test if you have it here to your platform for your computerChoose the Java EditionMake a log in, validate it, download a copy of Java Minecraft.Make a shortcut of the Minecraft folder on the desktop so it is easy to find. In Linex it’s in /home/YOU/.minecraftIn Windows the AppData folder is hidden so go to the ‘view’ tab and unhide it. Then find the folder C:\Users\YOU\AppData\Roaming\.minecraftIn MacCopy the file and paste a shortcut to the desktop so you can find it easily. The folders inside this will be where you put various files.Open the Minecraft Launcher and pin it to your desktop or barOpen installations tabClick +New (see above screen shot)Name it ‘First Open’Version drop down menu find 1.7.10Hit CreateClick green ‘play’ button next to ‘First Open’IF IT CRASHES go to your .minecraft folder, open ‘options.txt’ and find line 7 named ‘renderDistance’ change the number to 12.Hit quit game and move on. Forge forge-1.12.2-14.23.5.2847 at this link Look for the “Download Latest” for your system.DON”T CLICK ANYTHING AT FIRST! Wait until the red ‘SKIP’ button pops up on the top right. Go back to step 2e and put the mod into THAT mod folder.Texture packDownload the Texture2.zip folder and place it into your .minecraft Resource Pack folder.Enable the pack after entering the world by hitting the escape key to bring up the Game Menu and click ‘Options’Then click ‘Resource Packs’Click the icon next to the pack name to move it onto the ‘Selected’ side. ................
