Keeper Technology is hiring a Junior Systems Engineer motivated to help customers meet significant technical challenges. Our ideal candidate will have a proven ability to support complex infrastructures and who is interested and eager to learn additional operating and hardware systems.Responsibilities:Configure and maintain servers Configure and maintain Storage Area NetworksManage large clustered file systems and hierarchal storage managersUnderstand requirements and advise on system design and build to optimize application performanceAutomate system administration tasks using scripts to iterate through repetitive data actions, parse system logs, and trigger responses based on system outputManage, monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and networksRecommend and execute server hardware and software configuration, installation, patching, integration, upgrades and performance tuningSupport daily operations to systems architectures such as capacity management, performance monitoring, provisioning, and network systems connectivityAssist the R&D team by providing support on a variety of tasksResponsible for supporting product deliveryAssist with product shipmentsAssist with customer deployments ensuring that the product is set up appropriatelyContribute to company knowledge base by maintaining a wiki databaseServe as a secondary support role to customersProvide lab and office support as neededOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field required, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experienceStrong experience with Linux Experience with virtualized environmentsStrong analytical and problem solving abilityEagerness to improve technical capabilitiesWillingness to go above and beyond to complete tasks and projects Ability to configure and deploy server buildsStrong understanding of networking protocols and server hardwareStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to commute to customer facility as neededAbility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security ClearanceTechnical Qualifications, an understanding of the following:Storage Area Networks Media Arrays (RAID, JBOD) File Systems Cloud Storage and Cloud Computing ConceptsAdministrator level scripting – bash, Python and/or PerlAbout the Company:Keeper Technology, LLC has been delivering integrated technology solutions to government and private sector clients since 2005.
