Event Captain provided on the day-of your event to ensure food and beverage quality, timing of everything, and server responsibilities? If you need more than this, an Event Coordinator is available for purchase ($150)This includes assistance with décor setup and teardown, a detailed timeline, and anything else that you need done for your event If a rehearsal is required for your event, you must purchase an Event Coordinator 1-hour rehearsal on Monday-Thursdays (subject to change upon availability) beginning by 5:30 p.m. or earlier. The total balance is calculated based upon contracted guest count multiplied by food and beverage packages plus Louisiana sales tax, rental fee, and service fee. Should payment requirements not be met, the reservation will become null and void. All deposits and payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.A Service fee of 3.5% will be added to all Credit Card/Debit Card payments. Friday and Saturday events require a minimum of 100 guests. All catering and beverage at La Maison de Bella are exclusive to Lauryn’s Fine Catering. We require full payment, final guest count, and final food and beverage package one month-to-date prior to the event. If the attendance falls below the final guest count, the customer will still be charged for the final guest count. If the attendance is above the final guest count, the overages are due immediately after the function in cash or check, as well as the 20% (of food and beverage) service fee.Cancellation Policy:Written notice of cancellation, by certified mail, must be received by La Maison de Bella no less than 90 days prior to contracted date. Cancellations within 90 days, makes the remaining balance due and payable immediately. Should it be necessary to secure the services of an attorney to collect the unpaid balance, the customer shall be liable for all expenses of collection, including but not limited to court costs and attorney fees fixed at a minimum of 25% of the amount due. 90 days prior to the scheduled date: 50% of the estimated invoice amount will be due.Estimated invoices are calculated based upon contracted guest count multiplied by food and beverage packages plus Louisiana sales tax, rental fee, and service fee.All menu items and prices are based on availability and are subject to change. The customer must receive permission from La Maison de Bella before contracting any outside entertainment. Bands contracted by customer shall not bring guests unless previously agreed by La Maison de Bella and customer. Bands will have no more than one hour to set up and no more than one hour to remove their equipment. La Maison de Bella reserves the right to refuse to allow anyone to use equipment which La Maison de Bella feels may prove to be unsafe or a hazard to individuals or property. Bands will have a specified area to set up their equipment. La Maison de Bella has the option and authority to monitor and control the volume of the bands and/or music system. If the contract is not fulfilled due to natural disaster or act of God, the function will be re-scheduled, and all payments will be re-applied to another open date within one year of this contract. The customer will be responsible for all guests and for damages or thefts that may occur to La Maison de Bella, due immediately after the function in cash or check. If damages are not recognized until event cleanup, up to a week following the event, customer will be contacted to arrange payments. ALL outside entertainment and decorations must be approved by La Maison de Bella. (No paper confetti, fireworks, rice, birdseed, etc. allowed on premises)Should the customer wish to allow entry by admit card only, the customer is responsible for providing a person at the door to collect admit cards and make any decisions regarding entry of a guest.If additional reception time is purchased, $500 is required for each additional hour. Should your event run over your scheduled time, you will be charged per hour it has run over (Bar fee for an additional hour is separate from the rental fee).Rehearsals:Customers will be given 1 hour for rehearsal on the Thursday before their wedding (date subject to change based on availability) with rehearsal beginning no later than 5:30 p.m.If rehearsal extends past 6:30 p.m., the client must pay an additional $100 per hour, which will be due on the night of the rehearsal. La Maison de Bella reserves the right to provide all beverage service, including alcoholic beverages. La Maison de Bella is not responsible for any damage or injury to or by individuals who have been served alcohol. Customer agrees to abide with Louisiana Law concerning the consumption of alcohol. La Maison de Bella reserves the right to stop serving a guest that is becoming a risk to a function due to alcohol. All persons consuming alcohol must be 21 years old and able to provide proper identification.This agreement shall be considered to have been made in the state of Louisiana and shall be interpreted, and rights and liabilities determined, in accordance with the laws of said state. If any of the provisions of this agreement are contrary to, prohibited by, or held invalid under applicable laws or regulations of any jurisdiction in which it is sought to be enforced, then only that provision shall be considered inapplicable and omitted but shall not invalidate the remaining provisions. This contract contains all agreements by the parties hereto. There are no promises, agreements, terms or conditions than those contained within this contract. This agreement shall apply to and bind all parties, may not be assigned by either party, and cannot be changed or altered orally. The undersigned has read and agrees to abide by all of La Maison de Bella policies and will assume any and all responsibility for any damage done to La Maison de Bella or its contents during the rental period and occurring as a result of using such facilities, including damage by attendees. Furthermore, I, my vendors, agents, employees, and guests will attend and use the La Maison de Bella facilities at our own risk. La Maison de Bella shall not be liable for any damages arising from personal injuries sustained by any such person on the premises of La Maison de Bella and we the customer assume full and total responsibility for such damages. La Maison de Bella and its staff shall not be liable for any equipment, property, or personal belongings, whether rental or otherwise, which are used or left at La Maison de Bella premises in connection with an event.
