Aloha, Adam Bowser came through Honolulu with his FBA Stores () Amazon Profits Workshop, and I paid $1,000 to attend a 3-day seminar which sold club memberships at $35,000. I couldn't afford the diamond plan, but a few days later someone called selling me the same package for 3,000, so I bought into it. When they didn't deliver the perks of the 35k plan, I started asking around and got stonewalled. I eventually threatened a financial dispute and they quickly refunded my money. I documented my experience and perspective at a website: forgetfbastores.A month ago FBA Stores approached me wanting to resolve the issue and take down the site. They made it clear I would be sued if we did not reach an agreement. They proposed an agreement I found very distasteful and we continue to negotiate. In the meantime several others have contacted me sharing similar stories of extreme dissatisfaction with their service. I am now encouraging them to share their story through this form, though if there is a more appropriate line of inquiry I would appreciate the direction. At this point I am fairly convinced something unethical is going on. All three salespeople that I worked with are no longer with the organization. In our conversation, the negotiator slipped saying his real work was finding the $2 million of their $12 million budget that was “missing” revenues. This and their incessant demand for my absolute silence raises even bigger red flags over the marketing flaws I’m only seeing months after the seminar. Some examples of questionable behavior: One of the “bonuses” they sold was a second laptop to help you get around Amazon’s rule that each person has only account – let’s break the rules and double our profits! I only realized later this is a distinctly criminal pattern. Another is their "directory of trusted manufacturers" that they will share with you. It exists. It is a directory. But it is literally a spreadsheet 10,000 names long that is basically unusable without some direction and input. If using misleading technicalities to sell your product isn’t illegal, it’s at least morally abhorrentThe final I’d like to mention is their purposefully vague pricing system of their product. They sell 3 tiers: Silver; Gold; and Diamond “Fulfillment By Adam”. Only the Diamond plan comes with the warehousing and logistics services implied by the word “fulfillment.” Purchasing the Gold or Silver “Fulfillment By Adam” plans allows you to buy products from their warehouse and signs you up for coaching sessions of questionable value. I was highly dissatisfied with the sessions I experienced, and they offer no recourse. I trust that if enough people document and share their experiences something can be done to prevent further losses to these people. Mahalo,Tijay ................
