This is a self-extracting, compressed file which contains the HP notebook system BIOS GF.M1.07 for both retail and commercial systems. Download the file to an empty directory, and execute it from Windows. Follow the displayed instructions to create the BIOS Update Floppy disk.

How to determine your current version

1. Reboot the notebook.

2. When the HP Logo appears with the message “Press F2 to enter SETUP”, press F2.

3. In the Main menu, the BIOS version can be seen similar to “BIOS Revision: GF.M1.02”. In this example, the BIOS version is 1.02.
