She has developed training modules for ICD-10-CM for all specialties for the AAPC.Rachel Coon, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-P, CPMA, CPC-I, CEMC, an AAPC certified professional medical coding instructor and an AHIMA ICD-10-CM Trainer, has over 20 years in the medical field and experience in a wide array of healthcare settings and roles in multi-specialty practices, with particular expertise in Family Practice and Internal Medicine. Extensive experience as an independent consultant, professional auditor, and medical coder, and has the ability to perform internal audits for compliant documentation training and revenue opportunities that may be missed due to data submission errors. She is president of based in Swansea, Il. Rachel provides education and training for physicians and office staff on medical coding and documentation improvement, with a great interest with regard to Documentation Compliance with the EMR in the office setting.
