A section was also added to the policy to cover poaching and prohibiting the use of guest players under US Club without getting coach’s approval.Vicki will type up exact working and send out to the board for a vote.Teams Playing UpU12 teams will not be allowed to play up this season. They must play 9v9.Spring TryoutsSpring tryouts will be open to all teams in all age groups. Teams will be able to hold tryouts to recruit players that are NOT already registered to a GBYSL club team or club academy team. Eligible players would include AYSO, GBYSL Recreational, and fall high school players.A discussion regarding mid-season transfers and possible penalties for transferring mid-season will be discussed at the next board meeting.Fields North Valleys - A meeting was held with Washoe County to discuss the North Valleys Fields. The swim complex will be built first.Moana – Some money has been raised to extend fields. Baseball has two years to get their plan going or abandon it.Plumas & Gojack – Sprinkler lines need to be replaced. There will be a meeting with the city to discuss replacing the lines. Plumas will be available for play. Discussed moving the Job Box from Gojack to Plumas.South Valleys – Goals need to be fixed and new nets are needed. All fields – change code on locksCoaching EducationNSCAA, Y1 & Y2, E & D upcoming courses. Missy will conduct Y1 & Y2 training, but more notice from Missy will allow for betting planning at attendance at these events.Referees in Outlying Areas If outlying clubs do not have enough referees in their area for home games, the home club has to pay millage for 1 car of referees to come from Reno or Carson.Referee PayAre we competitive? Last increase was in 2010. GBYSL pays more than high schools and some other leagues. Randy, Jimmy, Vicki and Greg will discuss and bring back a proposal to the board. .
