During Lent, and especially on Good Friday,
people take time to remember the journey of Jesus to Calvary.
Jesus loved his Father always.
In his journey to Calvary, Jesus loved his Father to the end. (Pause)
We will hear about people who hurt Jesus by their sins.
We will hear of people who helped Jesus by the good things they did.
Jesus asks us to turn away from sin and to do good instead.
First Station: Jesus is condemned to death
We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you!

Jesus was good to everyone.
He had done no wrong.
Yet he was treated as if he had.
How would you feel about being treated like that?

Jesus showed great courage.
It cost him everything to show us God’s love.

They took his body to a tomb, cut out of the rock.
They rolled a large stone over the entrance to the tomb.
