This three (3) year varsity basketball player has garnered a reputation for being an outstanding shooter and aggressive defender. Last season she led the DVC in three pointers per game and was second in free throw percentage. She was also a State Finalist in the IHSA 2014 Three Point Shooting Competition. In addition to a great outside game, Emily is known to aggressively attack the hoop. Emily is simply a tough, scrappy defender who does not let up. According to MWRR, (Midwest Recruiting Report), Emily has “a high basketball IQ…never takes a play off on either end...plays good individual and team defense…constantly moving on offense…unselfish…[with] a quick, smooth release on the catch and shoot.” As a two (2) year captain and DVC Academic All-Conference recipient, Emily is both a leader on and off the court. She maintains a 3.50 GPA and her school activities include being an Adapted PE Team Leader and an NCHS Ambassador. In addition to basketball, Emily has competed in NCHS Volleyball, Softball and Cross-County. Last fall, she was a top ten finisher in the Naperville City High School Nike Twilight Invitational (open race). ................
