50/50 Ticket Seller (Whitecaps) Volunteer

DEFINITION OF ROLE

To perform as a 50/50 ticket seller at a Vancouver Whitecaps game on behalf of Covenant House Vancouver. Providing a great customer service experience to the public while selling tickets.

QUALIFICATION

Interest in the mission of Covenant House Vancouver and desire to support its mission and increase public support. We are looking for volunteers who love to be social, who are energetic and who work well as a team player. This position requires you to interact with the public, so being comfortable in this setting is key. As mentioned, the more tickets we sell, the more money we raise for the youth and programs at Covenant House Vancouver, so promoting ticket sales is essential.

TIME COMMITMENT

Example of the 4.5-hour time commitment needed (game times vary): ? 4:30pm ? Volunteers arrive for training ? 6:00pm ? Gates open and ticket sales begin ? 7:00pm ? Game starts and sales continue ? 7:45pm ? Half Time and volunteer shift is complete *Volunteers must commit to the full 4 hours

JOB DUTIES

? Sell 50/50 tickets during the designated time frame indicated by gaming and CHV ? Provided a great customer service experience while selling tickets ? Answer or defer questions about Covenant House Vancouver to onsite CHV staff

or guide questions to the CHV website.
