1. Getting Started

Manifest MedEx (MX) has a new design and system infrastructure bringing you fast, easy, and reliable access to health information from the network. MX Access now combines claims and clinical data, creating an integrated list of medications, problems & diagnoses, and encounters. The purpose of this document is to describe the key concepts within MX Access.

a. Browser support

MX Access is supported on the following browsers: ? Windows

b. Logging in to MX Access

When your organization participates with MX Access, your admin will create an account for you. Once your account is created, you will receive a welcome invitation from MX. To complete your registration, please follow these steps to log in for the first time:

1. Open your email invitation. The email will include username, temporary password, and URL. The email details will be valid for seven days. If you are unable to register within seven days, please refer to "Troubleshooting: Invitation expired."

2. Click on the URL in the email. You will be brought to the MX login page. Enter your username and temporary password.

3. Once you have entered your credentials, you will be prompted to change your password. Your password must meet the following criteria: ? At least 8 characters ? No more than 64 characters ? At least 1 lowercase alphabetic character ? At least 1 uppercase alphabetic character ? At least 1 numeric character ? At least 1 symbol character ? You will not be able to reuse your last 6 passwords

4. Upon successfully changing your password, a confirmation screen will display. Click Close to close the window and log in using your new password.

5. After entering your username and password, a screen will appear saying MFA Required. Enter a ten-digit SMS-capable phone number and click on Submit Phone. The phone number can be entered in the following formats: ? 123-456-7890 ? 123/456/7890 ? 123 456 7890 ? 1234567890
