Developmental Learning Center – Licensed center with wheelchair accessibility. Center specializes in children with hearing impairments. Accept infants through age 12. Provides after school care till 5:30pm. There is a waiting list for infants of approximately 6 months with two vacancies in the 4-5 year classrooms. Infant care $150 weekly. Accepts Medicaid.

Broadmoor Home Care-You own an unlicensed home daycare. The Childcare Health Consultant visited once and left information. She found the home clean and gave number for licensure. You have a rabbit cage outside and are also raising boxer puppies for sale which are confined to a covered, secure pen. Not an appropriate home for children with asthma or allergies. You are approved for 10 children and currently have 2 infant vacancies.

Jumping Jack’s Childcare-You own a licensed home facility and accept infants through preschool age children. You also provide afterschool care. You have a van that transports to/from school. Your basement is dedicated to the children and opens to a large backyard play area but is not wheelchair accessible. With a staff of 3, you can accommodate 4 infants and 16 toddlers. You can give medications and screen enrollees carefully. Currently you have no children with disabilities.

St. Joesph Hospital Childcare-Hospital sponsored daycare utilizing students majoring in Child Development. Structured and age appropriate activities offered for infants through age 6. Licensed. Childcare Health Consultant services available but have not been utilized to date. Medications are administered per doctor’s order. Current waiting list.

The Kiddie Pen-You own a licensed home daycare and accept up to 10 children, infants to school age. You currently have 2 after school children and 4 toddlers ranging from 2-4 years. You can transport to and from school and currently give oral medications. You utilize the Childcare Health Consultant. Your home is not wheelchair accessible. You have two cribs but one is occupied.

Balloons Daycare- You own an unlicensed daycare and can accommodate five children. You currently have three openings. You are under investigation by the Dept of Social Services due to a complaint about unsanitary conditions and possible neglect. You are willing to take some special needs children as long as wheelchair accessibility is not required. You do not use the Childcare Health Consultant.

Rhonda’s Romp-You own a licensed daycare and utilize the Childcare Health Consultant on a regular basis. You have a staff of 3 and accept children birth through 5 years. You also have a limited afterschool program but do not provide transportation. You currently have no daycare vacancies but have one opening in the afterschool program.

Joy’s – You are a stay at home mom with 2 small children. Finances have been tight and you have been keeping 2-3 children on the side, just to make ends meet. School is starting and one of the children will soon be attending kindergarten. Your home is small with very little yard but you can provide lots of love and attention.

Tammy’s Tots – You own an unlicensed home daycare. You have no aides or additional staff. You can take a total of 5 children and you currently have one opening. You do before and after school care but do not transport. Due to size and lack of help, you do not think you can accommodate children with special health care needs. The Childcare Health Consultant visited once and left some information.

Heaven’s Creations – You work for a church sponsored daycare facility. The facility is licensed and utilizes the Childcare Health Consultant on a regular basis. You take children birth -5 yr. You also offer an after school program and transport children to and from school within your district. Your facility is wheelchair accessible but the ramps are in bad need of repair.

Creative Playtime-You own a licensed daycare and have two aids helping on a daily basis. You utilize the Childcare Health Consultant. You transport children to and from school and also provide numerous educational field trips throughout the year. You currently have no vacancies but do maintain a waiting list which is about four months out.

University Care- You run a licensed facility. Due to affiliation with University, you are able to utilize Child Development majors and have the capacity to accept 32 children age 6 weeks to 2 years. The Childcare Health Consultant visits on a regular basis. Currently you have 3 openings in the toddler classrooms.

Jumping Jenny’s - You own an unlicensed facility and utilize the Childcare Health Consultant on a regular basis. You currently have 2 infant vacancies and can have a total of 6 children. The facility is not handicapped accessible. You have numerous pets, including rabbits and turtles. Your husband works at an animal rescue dealing mostly with cats and dogs.
