Monash Japanese Language Education CentreSummary: VCE Japanese SL Written Examination Topics and Texts 2008 - 2019VCE, Japanese Second Language past examination papers are publically available and contain many relevant and interesting reading and listening scripts that can be used as classroom or homework activities. In order to help teachers easily locate suitable texts the Monash Japanese Language Education Centre has created a summary of the texts in past examination paper under prescribed themes and topics as well as suggested subtopics, printed on p12 of the VCE Japanese Second Language Study Design 2020-2023. Please note, that there are some areas in the new course that do not have any corresponding tasks and were not included in this document. In the case of the Writing tasks, the pieces that are Imaginative in style are listed separately, as they are generally not linked to the material outlined in the prescribed themes, topics and sub-topics. As the examination papers and related materials are readily available in the public domain on the VCAA website, these texts cannot not be used in school- based assessment and doing so may lead to
