Q. What if my PC doesn't meet the minimum hardware specifications? Can I stay on Windows 10? A. Yes. Microsoft has committed to supporting Windows 10 until October 14, 2025.

Q. How much does it cost to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11? A. It's free. But only Windows 10 PCs that are running Windows 10 20H1 or later and meet the minimum hardware specifications will be able to upgrade. Here is the link to the minimum system requirements to install Windows 11.

Q. Can I keep using Windows 10? A. Yes. You do not have to upgrade to Windows 11. Microsoft will continue to support Windows 10 until October 14, 2025.

Q. Does Windows 11 take up more space on my PC than Windows 10? A. No. Windows 10 and Windows 11 require approximately the same amount of disk space. During the upgrade process, however, extra space is required. Windows will clean up this extra disk space about ten days after the upgrade is complete.

Q. Can I go back to Windows 10 after I upgrade if I don't like Windows 11? A. After you have installed the Windows 11 upgrade there is a 10-day period where you can move back to Windows 10 while keeping files and data that you brought along with you. After the 10 days, you will need to back up your data and do a "clean install" to move back to Windows 10. New PCs preinstalled with Windows 11 cannot use the rollback function.

Q. How long does it take to install Windows 11? A. Downloading and installing Windows 11 will most likely take longer than a typical Windows 10 feature update. You canuse your PC while you're downloading it and then you have the option to schedule the install to happen at a specific timewhen you aren't planning on using your PC.

Q. Can I upgrade my Windows 10 PC to Windows 11 if I'm running S mode? A. If your PC meets the minimum hardware specifications, the Windows 10 Home edition in S mode can upgrade to the Windows 11 Home edition in S mode. If your Windows 10 PC is running the Pro edition in S mode, you will need to switch out of S mode to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro. Windows 11 Pro edition is not available in S mode.

Q. Can a really old PC run Windows 11? A. You can refer to our knowledge base for a list of tested systems to determine if your device is eligible to upgrade to Windows 11. Many PCs that are less than four years old will be able to upgrade to Windows 11. They must be running 20H1 or later version of Windows 10 and meet the minimum hardware requirements to receive the Windows 11 upgrade.

Q. How long can I purchase Microsoft Windows 10 Pro with a Windows 11 license? A. A Windows 10 Pro preinstalled device with a Windows 11 Pro license included is available for purchase until January 2024.

Q: What if I have a device with Windows 10, can I upgrade to Windows 11 so that I may install Windows Copilot? A: Yes, most PCs that have shipped in the last 5 years can run Trusted Platform Module version 2.0 (TPM 2.0). TPM 2.0 is required to run Windows 11. Copilot in Windows will be available in global markets, including the UK. Copilot is NOT available to market in European Economic Area (EEA) and China.

Q. What is Bing Chat Enterprise? A. Bing Chat Enterprise gives your organizations AI-powered web chat with commercial data protection. There are security controls in place with corporate data, so company data remains the company's data and Microsoft does not have access to the data. The data is not used to train the LLM and the data does not enrich the foundation AI models used by others.

Q. Which Microsoft 365 customers are eligible to start using Bing Chat Enterprise now? A. Customers licensed for Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, and Business Premium are eligible for Bing Chat Enterprise at no additional cost.
