Windows 10 Introduction

This Presentation is an Introduction to Windows 10.

(There will be another presentation which covers using the Windows 10 Apps and new features.)

It is designed to present the advantages and new Features of Windows 10. There is a section which describes how to Download a Free copy of Microsoft Windows 10 if your present OS is either Windows 7, 8 or 8.1

Also a tutorial of the various Upgrade options using a Media Creation Tool to create a USB Stick or DVD bootable media ( this is useful if you have more than one device to upgrade. Note the difference between Upgrade and Update - When you download the new Windows 10 it is an "Upgrade", and after installing the new OS it will perform a "Windows Update" i.e. Get the latest changes and install necessary drivers etc.

There is also a Overview of How / Why to upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 10 - Note this is NOT Free and involves extensive knowledge and Full Data Backups etc.

Hover over open tabs to preview them, and bring your favourites and reading list with you when you use Microsoft Edge on another device.

Sign in and greet the day with Windows Hello

If it's available on your device, Windows Hello changes how you sign in ? it uses your face or fingerprint instead of a password. Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options to set it up.
