Participation in the IUPUI Math Contest will comprise this semester’s extra credit opportunity. Each properly submitted problem will yield an extra point added to BOTH the Quiz and Unit Exam categories. A student may submit up to 4 problems and 1 essay for 5 points in each category. The Final Exam grade is unaffected by Extra Credit for Semester 2. Information about this contest will be distributed January 10. The deadline for your submissions will be Wednesday March 5. Participating in the viewing of the movie Stand and Deliver in late April and completing the accompanying packet will result in replacing your lowest quiz score with a 10.
