With the Staley’s home so beautifully decorated with the St. Patrick Day Theme, everyone coming for coffee instantly felt a bit more Irish. Keeping up with the Holiday theme, we were served Irish Coffees, shamrock cookies, Irish Soda bread, Pound Cake, and many more wonderful dishes. It was a fun time to shake off some of the winter gloom and visit with friends and neighbors. Thank you, Brian and Roberta, for hosting the March Coffee in such a fun way. CCMarch DinnerOn March 27th a bunch of us, in the pouring rain, headed to Rehoboth to try Murph’s Beef and Ale House—a small Irish pub that specializes in gourmet, top notch sandwiches. On this night , just for us, they added a couple of Irish specials to the menu. Although the food was very tasty and enjoyable, the seating arrangement was very crammed. It was hard on the waitresses serving our dinners and hard for us to move around. I’m sure they are not accustomed to dealing with a group of this size. If you are out and about and wanted to pop in for a drink, a sandwich, and listen to the band I would highly recommend this.Social Committee NewsFollowing dinner, a special thanks, to Mary Pat and Mike Brough for inviting us into their beautiful, newly-built home.
