ACTION VERBS

These help to strengthen your experiences on your resume. Typically you should summarize your experiences using the following format:

ACTION VERB

3. Accomplishment

Lists of action verbs exist all over the Internet, however use this to find occupationrelevant action verbs when you do not have a job description to reference.

And in the Occupation Quick Search, type in the occupation you are looking to craft your resume to and select the occupation that most closely aligns with your target job.

ON THE SUMMARY REPORT

Look at the list of Tasks, and expand the list by clicking on the (+) to display all tasks.

SELECT YOUR ACTION VERBS

Keep in mind that the action verb by itself is not as impactful without the relevant task, outcome, or accomplishment. However, these verbs are common to most job descriptions associated with this occupation. If you can accurately incorporate these into your resume, it will help showcase your relevant experiences.
