Remaining Small Cap securities migration to SETSmm
Live Date: 5 December 2005
The purpose of this Service Announcement is to advise customers of the remaining Small Cap securities which will be migrated from SEAQ onto the existing SETSmm segment (SSMM), with effect from 5 December 2005. This follows the announcement the London Stock Exchange issued this morning relating to the three month review following the addition of the top 200 Small Cap securities to SETSmm in July 2005.

In addition to this the FTSE AIM 50 constituents will also be migrated onto a SETSmm trading platform. Please see Service Announcement 62XX/05 for full details.
Market Structure
The market structure will be added to the live service on Friday 25 November 2005 in readiness for the launch. Details of the new sectors can be found below.

SETSmm Securities;
Appendix ‘A’ contains details of all remaining small cap securities from SEAQ which will be migrated into the SSMM segment on 5 December 2005.
Minor amendments to the list of securities or changes to some of the parameters (e.g. tick size or NMS) may occur between now and 5 December 2005. All changes will be highlighted and an updated list of securities will be issued prior to the live date.
Customer Development Service (CDS)
The CDS environment was updated to reflect the revised Market structure on 12 September 2005. Customers are recommended to make use of the CDS.
Administration
As a contingency measure, the end of day period will be extended to 23:00hrs on Friday 2 December 2005, however all changes are expected to be completed before this time. A service announcement will be issued once all changes have been completed.
Customers will receive a series of 5OB (Tradable Instrument/Currency/Market Segment) messages for each addition and deletion on Friday 2 December 2005.
Customers are advised to take either the Reference Data Changes service Broadcast Data groups B11, B13 and B75 on Friday 2 December or to take the Full Reference Data Download B10, B12 and B74 on Monday 5 December 2005.
This reference data will also be available on Service Channel S04
Please note that no closing prices will be re-disseminated as a result of this data migration activity.
