It is imperative to consult reliable sources when considering any information:?Disease outbreak:·?????? In China cases were reported mostly in Wuhan, with one case in Shenzen and possibly two cases in Beijing.·?????? Outside of China two case has been reported in Thailand; and one in Japan ·?????? To date two deaths (17 January) have been reported to WHO ·?????? It would be prudent to reduce the general risk of acute respiratory infections while travelling in or from affected areas·?????? Health practitioners and public health authorities should provide to travellers information to reduce the general risk of acute respiratory infections·?????? If a traveller on board of an aircraft has signs and symptoms indicative of acute respiratory infections, the health part of the aircraft general declaration (Appendix 1 to ICAO Annex 9) must be completed and submitted to Point Of Entry health authorities. ?·?????? A Public Health Passenger Locator Form (Appendix 13 to ICAO Annex 9) must be completed in the event of a sick traveller detected on board an aircraft·?????? WHO does not recommend any specific health measures for travellers. It is generally considered that entry screening offers little benefit, while requiring considerable resources.(10 January 2020)·??????
