Email address: danielle.arnold@jefferson.kyschools.us Dear Parents or Guardians,Hello! It is my pleasure to teach your student this year in Chemistry. My name is Danielle Arnold, and this is my 12th year teaching at Jeffersontown High School. Hopefully, this will be a great experience for your student and will provide him/her with a strong foundation in chemistry, but also some fun and exciting laboratory and classroom activities. Please take a few minutes to review the information on the front of this sheet. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me. My classroom door is always open. About every 3-4 weeks, students will be given progress reports to bring home and may be signed for extra credit. Parents are always welcome to sign onto Parent Portal to check grades online too.Attached is a student information sheet which needs to be filled out, signed by you, and returned by your student. While safety is constantly stressed, chemistry is a lab class and accidents do occur. For this reason, it is very important that phone numbers are current. As needed, I will also contact parents to inform them of any academic or behavior problems with their students. At the bottom of the page is a log for me to record these contacts whether made by phone or by email.I look forward to seeing you at open house and at parent-teacher conferences, please feel free to contact me at any time if you have any questions or concerns. The school’s phone number is 485-8275, and my email address is: Danielle.Arnold@jefferson.kyschools.us40386007620Thank you,Danielle ArnoldJeffersontown High SchoolRoom 237 CChem-is-try ................
