Exercise Reimbursement Enrollment and EligibilityWhat is the Exercise Reimbursement Program?The Exercise Reimbursement Program allows eligible U.S. Johnson & Johnson employees to receive a $100 reimbursement per quarter, with proof of participation, for certain fitness-related fees. Who is eligible to participate in the Program?Employees who are full-time or regular part-time, based in the United States, and do not have a Johnson?&?Johnson fitness center or room within 10 miles of their home or worksite are eligible for the Program.I believe I am eligible for Exercise Reimbursement, but when I try to register, I get the following message: ‘We’re sorry, we could not determine your eligibility. Please contact your referring client.’ What should I do? Be sure you are entering your information accurately when creating an account:Use the zip code from your home address Use your legal name as it appears on your paycheck (i.e., if your name in the Johnson & Johnson database is “John Smith III” and you enter “John Smith” the system will not recognize you).If you work from home on an exclusive basis:You may not be able to register if your work location in the Johnson & Johnson Human Resources system reflects a site where there is a fitness center. The Johnson & Johnson Human Resource’s “Our Source” database contains an indicator that denotes employees who work from home exclusively. (Flexible work arrangement, where employees are able to work from home for part of their work-week, is not considered working from home.) Only those employees who work from home on an exclusive basis are eligible for Exercise Reimbursement.Please ask your supervisor to go to the Our Source Portal at and set your Work from Home Indicator to “Yes” in the Our Source database. Your supervisor can contact the Johnson?& Johnson Global Services Support Team at 1-855-345-9582 if he/she needs guidance on how to make this update in Our Source. If Fitbucks Customer Support says I am not appearing in their system, but I’ve followed all the correct steps in the process and believe I am eligible for the program, what should I do?Ask the Fitbucks Customer Support Professional to escalate your case to Johnson & Johnson for research and review. I’m a new employee. When can I participate? Employees are eligible on their first day of hire. However, it may take up to four weeks to be able to access the FitBucks system to log gym visits and submit receipts for reimbursement. How do I enroll? Set up your account by selecting the “Create an Account” button on your reimbursement landing page (johnsonandjohnson). Fill in all of the required fields to complete your registration. Once this is complete, you will be able to submit your request for reimbursement. When can I enroll? Is there a limited window or can my enrollment occur at any time? You can enroll at any time. Can I submit my purchases from 2016 for reimbursement?No, purchases have to be made within the current year.What is the maximum reimbursement? The maximum reimbursement is up to$100/quarter (i.e. up to $400/year), less appropriate income taxes across all programs. If my fitness expenses during one quarter are less than $100, can I roll that unused money over into the next quarter?No, unused funds cannot be rolled over into the next quarter. Why do income taxes have to be taken out? The reimbursement of the services, and membership covered under this Program is considered a taxable fringe benefit by the Internal Revenue Service, so appropriate taxes must be withheld. To do so, all reimbursements are processed through Payroll and the appropriate income taxes are withheld. Consult your tax advisor for additional information.Is my family eligible to participate? At this time, only employees are eligible.What fees are eligible for reimbursement? The below are eligible for reimbursement with proof of participation:Fitness Center Membership Fees: Fitness center, health club, studio, aquatic and tennis center membership fees, and organized exercise program fees.Group Exercise Class Fees: Exercise classes not included in a fitness center membership led by certified instructors. Examples: yoga, Pilates, dance, boxing, selfdefense, strength-training, core conditioning, indoor cycling, boot camp, water aerobics, etc. Personal Training: The personal trainer must be certified by a nationally-recognized organization such as ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, or anized Activities, Leagues, and Races: This may include, but is not limited to, entry fees for organized walks/runs (5K, 10K, marathon, etc.) and fees to participate in organized leagues (softball, bowling, basketball, soccer, tennis, golf).I’m already a member of a gym. Am I eligible to participate? Regardless of whether you have just joined a gym, or you have been a member for years, you are eligible for the Exercise Reimbursement Program as long as you meet the eligibility guidelines set by Johnson?&?Johnson. How can I take advantage of the GlobalFit gym discount program? Visit jnj to browse the 8,000 gyms that offer discounted rates through GlobalFit. Also, be sure to take advantage of savings offered on healthy eating and weight management programs, health coaching, and fitness tracking devices.My gym is not an approved fitness center. Can I add my gym to the approved list? After you have created your account and elect to “start a reimbursement,” you will be able to search the list of gyms already in the system. If you still do not see your fitness center, select “Add Your Gym” to fill in your gym’s contact information, and continue with the reimbursement submission process. Can I get reimbursed for fitness equipment I purchase for home-use?No, fitness equipment is not eligible for reimbursement under the Program.Exercise Reimbursement ProcessWhat documentation is needed to process my reimbursement? You will be asked to submit a receipt as proof of purchase. In addition, Johnson & Johnson requires that you utilize your chosen fitness activity a minimum of eight times per quarter. To provide proof of your visits, you can:Upload a screenshot or scan of a gym check-in log, used class pass/punch card or attendance log; Fax the information using the number listed on the website; or Use the geo-access feature. If you are within 500 feet of your gym, log onto johnsonandjohnson and check in with your mobile device.Where do I submit my information for reimbursement? All supporting documentation for your request can be uploaded through your reimbursement account, which can be accessed by visiting johnsonandjohnson. What is the deadline to submit my application for reimbursement? You must submit your reimbursement request by 30 days after the end of a quarter to be approved for that quarter.What formats are acceptable when submitting the required documentation for reimbursement?Supporting documentation can be uploaded in JPEG, GIF, TIFF, or PDF formats, and should not exceed 500KB. How do I use the geo-access feature to record my visits? The geo-access feature allows you to provide proof of visits from your mobile device. Simply log onto johnsonandjohnson and click the “check in” button when you are within 500 feet of your gym in order to have your activity recorded. When you have reached the minimum 8 visit requirement, you will be prompted to submit reimbursement for that quarter if you choose. Can I submit more than one request for reimbursement – for example, one for gym membership, then another one for personal training? Yes. You can submit multiple items up to the reimbursable amount.How can I confirm that my reimbursement has been processed? Once you log into your reimbursement account, you will be able to view your submissions and the associated statuses.How can I obtain a copy of the reimbursement form that I submitted?If you need a copy of your reimbursement form, please print the document submission screen for your records. How and when will I receive my reimbursement? You will receive your reimbursement through Johnson & Johnson Payroll. You may log in to your FitBucks account to check the status.
