|POSITION PURPOSE: |
|Perform facility buyer duties, act as materials management representative, provide inventory oversight and manage planning, scheduling, |
|warehouse, shipping and receiving staff. |
|ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: |
|Perform facility Buyer duties |
|Coordinate internal activities to support strategic sourcing activities |
|Interface with Commodity Manager |
|Manage Raw Material KanBan levels |
|Material Recycling programs |
|Raw Material Consignment Programs – Oversight |
|Raw Material Delivery Issues |
|Raw Material Expedites |
|Raw Material Planning and Ordering |
|Raw Material Quality Issues |
|Raw Material samples |
|Materials management representative |
|CPAR’s |

|QUALIFICATIONS / PRIOR EXPERIENCE: |
|BA/BS or equivalent in years of relevant experience |
|APICS certifications preferred |
|Experience using MRP system with related management experience |
|Thorough understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts |
|Thorough knowledge and exposure to ERP Systems |
|WORK ENVIRONMENT: |
|The work performed is conducted in a climate-controlled facility with moderate noise levels that are within OSHA limits |
|Must be able to walk, talk, sit, stand, and communicate verbally continuously throughout an 8 hour period |
|Must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs |
|Must be able to travel Domestically & Internationally as needed |
