DIRECTIONS for Single Heart Strands

1. Punch out a large assortment of hearts from cardstock.

2. Thread sewing machine. Adjust the stitch length to a long stitch.

For Double Heart Strands: Place two hearts together when sewing then fold them apart when the strands are completed. This will open up the heart designs.

DIRECTIONS for the Large Hearts:

1. Pattern: Draw drawing 4" heart on cardstock and cut it out. 2. Using this pattern to cut out two hearts for each hanging heart ornament. 3. Cut out interesting shapes (swirls, stripes, smaller hearts, etc.) from cardstock. Apply

to both sides of big hearts. Add beads. 4. Thread sewing machine. Adjust the stitch length to a long stitch. Sew two big hearts

together, leaving about 12" of thread at the top of the heart. 5. Thread assorted beads from about 6" above the heart. At intervals, glue two hearts

together on the thread to space the beads. Tie a loop at the top. 6. Glue beads at bottom of hearts as desired.
