VISITOR POLICY

Hospital/Inpatient

Visitors are only allowed for the following groups:

? Pediatric Patients: 1 support person is permitted. For prolonged hospitalization, 2 designated support persons are permitted (1 at a time).

? PICU & NICU: 2 designated support persons are permitted at the same time.

? Labor & Delivery: 1 support person is permitted.

? Hospice or End of Life: 1 visitor at a time is permitted.

? Patients with Disabilities or Cognitive Impairments: 1 support person is permitted. For prolonged hospitalization, 2 designated support persons are permitted (1 at a time).

? 1 support person for patients who need assistance with transportation or language.

? 1 support person for patients with disabilities or cognitive impairments.

? Pediatric Patients: 1 support person allowed. 2 support persons are allowed when a family with more than one child has multiple appointments on the same day.

? Postpartum & Newborn Care: 1 support person may accompany a mother with a newborn under 4 weeks old.

General Visitor Guidelines:

? All visitors will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms.

? No visitor with COVID-19 symptoms may enter.

? No visitor under investigation for COVID-19 or confirmed COVID-19 (in the last 20 days) may enter.

? No visitor with known close contact with confirmed COVID-19 person (same household) in the last 14 days may enter.

? Visitors must use appropriate face covering while on the premises, both indoors and outdoors.

? No visitor eating or drinking in patient room.

? If not accompanying the patient into the exam room, the visitor may not wait in the patient waiting room.
