Guarantees & Liabilities

Executive Search is a management consulting activity that may or may not result in the hiring of an executive. Therefore, it is misleading to guarantee that a position will be filled as the inevitable conclusion of an executive search consulting assignment. At the same time, it is appropriate that the Consultant does commit to introduce to its client a minimum of three to five qualified candidates for consideration on each assignment. The Consultant will conduct initial reference checks, verify academic credentials, and, to the best of her ability, confirm all factual statements regarding the candidate’s history and record of accomplishments.

The Consultant is ready to give a guarantee on candidates for 6 months depending upon the assignment.

In addition, it is appropriate for the client to understand the Consultant’s policy about unusual situations. For example:

▪ If a candidate leaves their new position as a result of involuntary termination within a period of ninety days, The Consultant will restart and execute a replacement search, charging applicable out-of-pocket expenses only.

▪ The Consultant works to completion on each search, unless mid-course changes are judged to be so significant that, in reality, a brand new search has been initiated. Billing and expense adjustments may be justified at that time.

The Consultant observes the laws in force relating to employment in each of the countries (Russia and CIS) and jurisdictions in which her team works. The Consultant refers quality candidates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual preference, age, national origin, or disability.

Outplacement projects

If your company adheres to policy of the ethic attitude towards employees and you want to keep good relations with displaced personnel, you can get support of the Consultant in making the correct career transition for them.

The Consultant has 25 years experience of personnel coaching and helping thousand of people in finding of a new job.

Approaches

Being let go is a critical event in a person's life which always requires a new understanding.

Everything that happens to a person has its logic and patterns, and the task of the job seeker is to figure them out. Only when a person achieves a thorough understanding of his situation, reaches a new outlook on his internal essence, his deep potential, and, consequently, his values and new goals, he will be able to make the right choice and find the means for making it happen. Only when a person comes to the right decision within himself, he will be able to take the formal steps toward a job search (resume, agencies, compiling a list of potential companies, preparing for interviews, etc.) For this reason, at the "Understanding" stage, the Consultant tries to help people "dig as deep as possible into themselves" in order to achieve results at the next stages.

There are principles and conditions under which your company can use services of the Consultant for search of new work for your former employees:

• The need for a personal decision in regard to the start of the outplacement project

• The matter of hiring a consultant for employee outplacement is decided not just by the current employer, but also by associate who is about to be let go.

• The Consultant assists people on an individual & group basis.

Responsibility

The outplacement programs provide ongoing support as long as the individual needs it.

The Consultant work includes:

• The fact-finding interview including an objective assessment of person’s professional qualification.

• The solution of personal internal problems, preventing further development

• Discussion of stages of job search.

• ‘Understanding’ stage: internal preparation of the person for search process.

• The professional help in drawing up the summary (CV) in Russian and/or English languages and writing of cover letters.

• Consultation of the person concerning a labor market, level of salaries on it, the companies presented in the market and recruiting agencies.

• Joint development of the marketing plan for definition of suitable opportunities.

• Preparation for interview with the potential employer or agency.

• Analysis and discussion of available offers.

• Consultation on the contract with the new employer.

Due to the attitude of your Associate to the transition, the Consultant can not guarantee the curtain terms of success placement, as well as the fact of placement itself.

Conditions

Consistent with the outplacement practice, the fees are non-contingent and are fifty (50%) percents of the basic month salary of the Candidate to be displaced.

The Consultant works under a service contract.

The Consultant uses her own resources for completion of the project (office, meeting rooms, communications and technical needs).
