20 YEAR CELEBRATION THE VINEYARD CONFERENCE 2019 FREEDOM IN CHRIST TABLE TALK

20 YEAR CELEBRATION

10.30am, Sun 29 September, Boys High School, Straven Rd, Fendalton, NO OTHER SERVICES ON THIS DAY We are going to have a party with all of our campuses and celebrate what God has done over the 20 years at Grace. This will be followed by a family fun afternoon! Bring a picnic rug and enjoy games, bouncy castles, live music, food trucks, BBQ, treats and more! Action packed activities for kids and youth will be running during the service. Parking is available on the street. Come and join in on the PARTY!

INTERNSHIPS 2020

Ready to take a year to seek the purposes of God for your life? We invite you to invest that year with us! Come and experience the journey that God has us on as a church, with input from our leadership team. It is a 10 month experience studying full time with Vineyard College, with 20 hours of practical service a week. To find out more and express your interest head to gracevineyardtraining. org

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Last year we were able to send out 311 Christmas shoe boxes on behalf of our church. This year Beach Campus will be the only campus collection and drop-off point. Boxes will be available in the next couple weeks for packing. Collection will start at the beginning of October. Email mel.fairweather@.nz if you have questions or would like to help.

I'M NEW

Welcome! We'd love to meet you! If you have any questions about anything, please speak to one of our leaders and they will be happy to help you. We love having our whole family together for the first part of our worship service. After a short time our children leave, to continue their service. Parents please take your child to the inflatable space (our leaders will direct you), and sign them into their group. At the end of the service, please come back to collect them. Our Welcome Nights or Lunches are a great way to find out about our church.

SUSTAINABILITY

We want to feed your home compost bin! We have switched many of the products we use to be home compostable. Some of them break down in as little as three weeks! Contact creationcare@.nz if we can feed your compost bins. We'd love your support!

CREATION CARE HELP

We want to care for the environment God has given us by being mindful of our waste! We have some exciting events coming up including our 20 Year Celebration and Biketober and would love your help with ensuring we reduce waste. Email creationcare@.nz if you'd like to help.

COMPASSION TRUST BUDGETERS NEEDED

We are looking for new volunteers who are passionate about supporting people to make a positive life change. Full training, supervision and mentoring provided. Training starts in September. Contact Anne on 379 2329 or email office@.nz

YAT INTERNSHIP FOR 2020

Youth Alive Trust is offering a scholarship for one or two interns who wish to join their team of youth workers and advance their knowledge and experience by doing a Youthwork Qualification at the same time. The scholarship is targeted at 18-25 year olds and is suitable for someone wanting either a `year out' or a career in youthwork, potentially gaining a diploma. FOOD ITEMS NEEDED

Thank you for your on-going support! At the moment we especially need peanut butter, canned tomatoes, pasta, toilet paper and washing powder. If you can help please place your donation in the food boxes by reception or call 379 2329. Food collected goes to Compassion Trust where it is used to support individuals and families who are working on their budgeting to get out of debt. A small part goes to emergency situations.

PAIN TO HEALING

9.30-1.30pm, Wednesdays, City Campus, $5 donation If you have been living with pain we would love to help you move forward into healing! This ministry, run by qualified physiotherapists is intended as a consultation appointment to help point you in the right direction. Email paintohealing@.nz to book an appointment or find out more!
