Photography Remote Learning Independent Project

Remote Learning Independent Project Spring 2020 - Photography

Project Objective: Students will create a series of photographs related to different genres and critique/reflect on their personal work that will be presented in a google slide presentation.

Project Description: During the next few weeks of study, students will be creating a google slide presentation depicting different genres of photography. Genres and well known photographers related to that genre will be provided by the teacher. Students will be able to use their phone cameras to capture each genre style if they do not have a DSLR camera. Students will write a critique/reflection on each genre and the photographs they took using specific questions provided by the teacher.

Each lesson below provides a different genre. With each genre there are three photographers to look at for ideas and styles of that genre. Students must complete all lessons by creating one google slide presentation that will consist of 14 slides. This presentation looks very similar to the Digital Critique Presentation on The Elements of Art students completed in Quarter 3.

Each week has suggested timeline for completing the lessons. The final project will combine all the lessons together and be submitted to Google Classroom by 4 pm on May 8th.
