Web Browsers Supported By ARC PortalA statement from Huron Technologies about web browser support for Click? Portal sites:Different browsers vary widely in their behaviors and change rapidly as new versions are released. When we state that a browser is supported, this means two things. First, we test new features and changes that are likely to be affected by browser variance across the browsers we list as supported. Second, if a bug is found related to a supported browser, providing a fix will be prioritized relatively highly. Beyond that, when we know there are quirks with browsers that are otherwise supported, we endeavor to keep information about those quirks updated in this document. Finally, while we may state a certain browser version is supported, you may find that more recent versions provide a better experience, and we may suggest upgrading your browser as a potential solution to some issues. If a browser is not supported by its own vendor, we typically will not support it either. We also drop support if browsers are excessively problematic, old, or have been superseded by several other later versions.Supported browsers:PlatformBrowserMicrosoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, Server 2008 R2, and Server 2012(Windows 8.1 not yet supported/validated)Internet Explorer: versions 8*, 9, 10, and 11?Firefox:?latest version?Chrome**: latest versionApple Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8(OS?X 10.9 Mavericks not yet supported/validated)Safari:?5 or 6(Safari 6.1 and 7 not yet supported/validated)?Firefox:?latest version?Chrome:?latest versionApple iOS 5, 6, and 7 (iPhone and iPad)Safari*When using Internet Explorer 8, there are times when Compatibility View mode may give better or worse results. For example, if you see misaligned tabs, turning on Compatibility View mode will usually correct the display. Our recommendation is to use Internet Explorer 9 or 10.**If you install a theme in Chrome, vertical scrollbars might disappear in pop-up windows.Every browser and version behave differently. Even though Huron might support a particular browser, there will always be occasions where the presentation varies on different browsers and platforms. This is expected. In order to authenticate to a Click Portal based site, the browser must be configured to accept at least session based cookies.
