JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose: Responsible for the execution and teaching of Children's Ministry programs.

Summary: As part of the Children's Ministry Team, the Lead Teacher is responsible for working with the Children's Ministry Team of LifeQuest Church to provide an excellent Children's Ministry program on Sunday Mornings and again on Wednesday Evenings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teaching alongside volunteers on Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Evenings

Managing the Children's Ministry Budget

Purchasing supplies and making sure they are ready and available for the Children's Ministry program

Being an active member of all Children's Ministry Team Meetings

WORK SCHEDULE:

? Part-time; 10-15 hours per week

? On site 8:45am-11:30am every Sunday and 6:15pm-8:15pm every Wednesday

REQUIRED SKILLS

? A heart for the local church and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

? Experience teaching children in a church setting is preferred, but not necessarily required.
