Professional Career Coaching Philosophy

Professional Career Coaching Philosophy

As a career coach and counselor, it my philosophy to;

• Motivate clients by helping them discover their passion in life through intake interviews, assessments, and personal career exploration

• Use counseling and coaching techniques to teach clients about themselves and their personal and professional needs and wants

• Find multiple ways to work with diverse client needs and learning styles

• Develop strategies for learning new information regarding the job market and techniques to assist my clients in their career development and exploration

• Provide clients with encouragement, resources, and the tools to succeed in the job market

• Building a caring community by volunteering to provide free career resources in our local area and by connecting clients with local professionals for informational interviewing

• Positively motivate clients toward change in order to help them find a career that fulfills their life purpose

• Connect and support clients with educational and financial resources to continue in their pursuit of education and training

• Help clients create their personal “brand” of marketing material that provide them with clarity and confidence while facing the job market

• Concentrating on the skills most needed in the workplace and training clients on the application process and interview techniques

• Provide a safe space for clients to share their vulnerabilities and insecurities to therefore gain a sense of confidence and authenticity that will lead to a successful career
