Gardner- Webb University Fellows Scholarship Competition

Criteria: 3.6+ GPA, 1130 CR & Math on SAT or 24 ACT.

Deadline: See Mrs. Belo for nomination by Oct. 28.

Washington Crossing Foundation- $1000-$5000 Award – Are you a

History buff, enjoy political science, or considering military service? Visit or call (215) 949-8841 for details. Deadline- Jan. 15

National Multiple Sclerosis Society Scholarship- $1000-$3000 Award

Criteria: senior or parent with MS, plan to attend 2 or 4 year college, citizen or legal resident, academic record, need. To apply visit scholarship or call 800-344-4867

Wellesley College in MA- Demonstrated need met 100% with grants, scholarships, & loans; visit wellesley.edu/SFS for details.

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Emancipation Association Scholarship-

$1000; Criteria: 3.0+ GPA, character, service, interview; Deadline- Return to Mrs. Belo by Nov.5 or mail to address on application by Nov. 12.

NC Hispanic College Fund- $500-$2500 Awards

Criteria: deserving and talented youth of Hispanic/Latino background,

College Application Week will be held Nov. 15-19. This is sponsored by the College Foundation of NC. The following colleges and all community colleges will waive application fees during Nov. 15-19. Sign up in Guidance by Nov.10 to apply at school. You may also apply from home.
