STANDARD SCHOOL SUPPLIES NEEDED BY STUDENTS

The following standard list represents the most common supplies required by schools in Salem-Keizer. Some schools may require additional items or may prefer a variation of the items listed. However, items such as wipes and glues MUST be purchased by District staff.

KINDERGARTEN

1 box of 16-stick crayons 1 glue stick 1 box facial tissues 2 pencils (#2) Book bag or backpack recommended

GRADES ONE AND TWO

1 box of 16-stick crayons 6 pencils (#2) 2 pink pearl erasers 1 box facial tissues 1 glue stick 1 student scissors Book bag or backpack recommended

GRADES THREE THROUGH FIVE

1 box of 24-stick or 48-stick crayons 6 pencils (#2) 2 pink pearl erasers 2 packages standard notebook filler paper, wide-ruled 1 box facial tissues 1 student scissors 1 ruler, 12" and 30 cm, 1/16" and 1 mm gradation 2 pens, good quality ball-point, blue or black ink 1 loose-leaf 3-ring notebook ? most schools (grade 5 only) Book bag or backpack recommended
