TMX Atrium is now offering full package of US SIP Feeds

TMX Atrium is a leading low latency venue-neutral infrastructure provider for financial services participants in Europe and North America. TMX Atrium has further expanded its global market data products offering and now provides full package of US Securities Information Processor (SIP) feeds including upgraded and faster Unlisted Trading Privileges data (go-live date scheduled for 24th of October 2016).

TMX Atrium Extranet is connected to the Nasdaq Third-Party infrastructure and can now offer to the financial community faster UTP feed (SIP C-tape) that leverages the enhanced INET Platform.

THIS NEW ENVIRONMENT INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING MAIN COMPONENTS:

IMPROVED EFFICIENCY SIP latency level of 50 microseconds or lower, with a goal for further reduction to 25 microseconds within a year after launch. This will be accomplished through upgrades to software and hardware systems.

INCREASED RESILIENCY & RELIABILITY The SIP utilizes industry proven robust architecture offering active/active redundancy, dynamic failover, and active/active disaster recovery.

INCREASED CAPACITY The distributed system handles a minimum peak rate of two million messages per second, per data feed.

IMPROVED SCALABILITY The highly scalable architecture is designed to quickly respond to capacity demands.

BINARY PROTOCOLS The binary protocols provide message efficiencies to reduce latency and bandwidth.

IN ADDITION TO THIS NEW UTP BINARY FEED, TMX Atrium can offer connectivity to the full package of US SIP Feeds via its global network including:

? CTA: Tapes A-B (CTS/CQS)

? UTP: Tape C (UTDF/ UQDF/TDDS/BBDS)

? OPRA

Customers connected to TMX Atrium Infrastructure have direct access to more than 500 market data sources from 30 major trading venues via low latency fabric and microwave links connecting 33 PoPs across 12 countries across USA, Canada, Europe, Asia and Russia. It covers CME, BATS, NASDAQ NYSE and other major exchanges.
