All NHS Trusts across the country are taking part and we are encouraging all our colleagues to have their say. Completing the survey is easy and tells us what we’re doing well, where we need to improve and how we can best support our teams in their jobs. Please encourage colleagues to fill in their surveys using the email invitation which they’ll receive from external provider, Picker (picker_surveys@), or paper copy if they receive one in the internal post. Some email invitations may go to Junk folders, and colleagues will simply need to move the email to Inbox before they can click on the link. The survey is strictly confidential and no-one at Northern Care Alliance will be able to identify anyone by their responses. Picker will analyse the results independently so when the responses are returned to us, we can focus on what’s been said by the collective voice of our colleagues.Support your teams to complete the survey today by giving them time, opportunity and encouragement to help make the changes they want to see in the NHS and their place of work. For information – Fraud prevention notice – cyber enabled salary diversion fraud??The NHS Counter Fraud Authority’s (NHSCFA) Fraud Prevention Unit (FPU) has issued a Fraud Prevention Notice (FPN) on cyber-enabled salary diversion fraud. This involves criminals sending phishing emails to NHS staff containing a link to a fake website which appears the same as the NHS ESR log-in page. The fake page allows the fraudster to obtain login and password information for an employee’s ESR records, which they then will attempt to use to change bank details and divert an employee’s salary. The MIAA alert provides a number of safety tips for staff to follow, along with instructions that staff must follow if they want to change their back account details with payroll/HR. Staff who receive one of these ESR phishing emails containing a link to NHS ESR log-in page (which will be a fake website) must forward the email to their local anti-fraud specialist, (contact details are contained with the alert 9 PDF), complete a Datix incident report and inform the IM&T helpdesk. Full details are on the Inform intranet page here. For information – Electronic Patient Record (EPR) deployment across North East sector community services??On the 10th August 2020, we began the roll-out of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system across all the North East Sector Community Services of the Northern Care Alliance.
