Make-up assignments must be handed in ASAP. You have the equivalent numbers of days to make up work as the number of days that you were absent. [i.e.: You miss 2 days; you have 2 days to make up that work.] Being absent the day before a test or assignment is due is NOT an excuse for being unprepared when you return. *Dependent on student being present on the day the test/assignment was posted.Being absent on the day of a group presentation will earn you a 0 on the presentation grade, if you do not return with a doctor’s office note, or something of the equivalent.Make-up tests can be scheduled for a SMART lunch tutorial within ONE week of your return, no exceptions. Work and tests cannot be made up during class time.
