How to Log Into Blackboard

After enrolling in classes for the semester, you should always make sure you are able to log into Blackboard, whether on the mobile app or website, and keep up with your courses. Everyone must log into Blackboard through the MyUMES Portal. There are two ways to get there. How to Log Into Blackboard via website

1. Open the Google Chrome application on your desktop or laptop.

2. Type in the address bar. 3. Click on the "Third Party Login" dropdown menu. 4. Click on the "MyUMES Portal" from the dropdown

menu. It will take you to the MyUMES Portal. 5. Type in your personal UMES username and

password. 6. Click the Login button.

How to Log Into Blackboard via My UMES Portal 1. Open the Google Chrome application on your desktop or laptop. 2. Type umes.edu in the address bar. 3. Click the gray My UMES tab. 4. Log into the UMES Portal using your personal UMES username and password. 5. Click the Blackboard icon under the Apps section. 6. Log in using your personal UMES username and password.

Warning Google Chrome was used to create these instructions. If you are using a different browser, the instructions may differ. Please do not use Internet Explorer for Blackboard.
