How to Create a New Email Address

Tips before you begin….

• Your email address is used all the time, and for convenience's sake, you will likely keep that email address for years to come. As such, you should give careful consideration when choosing a user name for your new email address.

• Keep your email safe. Never share your password with anyone.

• Try and check your email a few times a week. Important correspondence can be delivered to you via your e-mail address.

How to create a new email account with Yahoo!

Step 1: Open your internet browser and navigate to the Yahoo! Mail website at mail.

Step 2: Under “Don’t have a Yahoo! ID?” click the ‘Create a New Account Button.

(Special Note: Most websites collect this information for various reasons. How you enter your name will be how it appears to all your email recipients).

A. Often, the email address you will try to pick has already been taken.
