Work From HomeHRAlicia B.Other ID's09/25/2018Purpose:To assist those entering in Workday "Work from Home" colleagues.Guidelines for use:If you are unsure if you should use this event, reach out to your Workday Tier 1 Representative prior to data entry.Log into Workday.In the search box, either type the name of the colleague or enter their Workday Employee ID.On the left navigation pane, locate and click "Contact"On the Contact screen, click on "Edit"Scroll down the screen, to "Alternate Work location"Click "Add"Enter an effective date that you want the colleague listed as "Work from HomeNote: Date must be equal or greater than current dateCheck the box, "Use Primary Home Address"Use the drop down and type "Work" in the box, than select "Work from Home" A comment is not required in Workday, however, your organization may require a comment, please check with HR.Once completed, click "Submit"Note: "Approve" is used to update the identification information in Workday on the colleague."Save for Later" is used to leave the item in your inbox, once you have entered all information, click "Submit"."Cancel" Use the action, when you have decided that you do Not want to change the location on the colleague. This will cancel the business process/Task.Once you have submitted the event, a "Tax Election" task will be sent to the colleague's Workday inbox. The can either take action on the task or submit; once they click submit on the task, this closes the business process.Note: When you look at the colleague in Workday, you will see in the "Summary" the colleague is listed as "Work from Home". This will only be noted if you have selected the "Usage" on the Alternate address as "Work from Home"On the details page, you will also see that no address is showing on the right side of the screen as "Home Address" is listed as "Private" for the colleague. ................
