This will stop most feedback and also stop the possibilities of other conversations/dogs barking etc from being heard during the lesson. It also makes it easier to “unmute” if your teacher asks you a question. Your camera is disabled for safeguarding purposes.225945232085900241873430316000-3539689863If the teacher needs to put everyone on mute, the only way that you can then speak is if you use the ‘hands up’ button. The teacher will see that you have your hand up and allow you to unmute and speak. You will also be able to access the chat function. Please only use this when asked to do so. This will be a way of answering questions the teacher may ask. All chat is kept so any inappropriate use can be seen later. Conduct expectations during live lessonsIn order to ensure we are all safeguarded, and lessons run as smoothly as possible, we ask that the following conduct guidance is followedParents / carers should identify a suitable and quiet location for their child to use for live sessions, and ensure that, as far as possible, distractions are removed, including pets and siblings.Parents / carers should make every effort to support live sessions by ensuring their child is prepared and ready to learn / engage on time. Parents / carers are responsible for ensuring that the privacy of other family members is maintained during live sessions. Lessons delivered ‘live’ are still lessons and pupils are expected to present themselves and behave appropriately. High standards of behaviour are expected for live sessions, just as they are in the classroom.Parents / carers should not use these live sessions as a means for communication between parents / carers and teachers. Such communication should be via email or Seesaw. Parents / carers must not record or share these live sessions, nor comment on public forums about individual teachers or other children. At present, for safeguarding purposes, cameras are disabled, however this is currently under consideration. Teams has a wide range of functions which may be introduced as pupils and staff become confident and familiar with the platform. Remote learning using a Playstation or X-box one Modern day consoles, such as the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One (XBO), come with internet browsers preinstalled. These browsers enable users to access remote learning sites and Microsoft Teams. left9299900PS4Opening the PS4’s web browser is quick and easy.
